The Problem with Fashion
The fashion industry is responsible for 10% of human-caused greenhouse gas emissions and 20% of global wastewater, and uses more energy than the aviation and shipping sectors combined.
Additionally, in order to keep business costs and garment prices low, most fast fashion brands are dependent on exploited labour forces whose workers are underpaid, overworked, and exposed to dangerous conditions and health hazards. Of the 75 million factory workers around the world, it's estimated that only 2% earn a living wage.
Our Sustainability Efforts
It's clear that the industry we operate in has massive social and environmental impacts. So upon entering, it was important to us that we conducted ourselves as sustainably and ethically as possible to minimise our impact as a brand and, in some cases, even positively impact our environment and its people.

Our Fabrics
Recycled Polyester (rPET)
Due to its light weight, durability and breathability, rPET is an ideal fabric choice for sportswear. Unlike its virgin counterpart (virgin polyester) which is derived from non-renewable resources, contributes to CO₂ emissions, and generates a substantial amount of plastic waste, rPET is manufactured using plastic waste - that's everything including old water bottles and food packaging/containers that would have otherwise been sent to landfill.

Our Factories
Vietnam
Our manufacturing partners in Vietnam are the first factory we've ever worked in since our inception in 2022. They've achieved the WRAP Gold Certificate of Compliance, a certificate awarded to facilities based on their commitment to WRAP's 12 principles encompassing human resources management, health and safety, environmental practices, as well as legal compliance.
